Shalom! My name is Eva Parker (it's pronounced Ava. I apologize in advance). I'm 22. I just graduated from Samford University in Birmingham, AL, but now I'm living in New York City. I grew up in Orlando, FL, sandwiched between palm trees and Disney World. I'm a low-residency graduate student at Seattle Pacific University, getting my MFA in Creative Writing, studying Creative Nonfiction through a faith-based lens.
I'm confident in 2 things: Jesus is love, and a life lived seeking His truths will reap many fruits. I'm a girl who's constantly searching for many things: acceptance, love, confidence, the best plate of chicken alfredo, a workout plan that I won't quit within 3 days, friends who live authentically, the best book in the whole galaxy, someone who will think "Yeah!" by Usher is as much of a jam as I do, a TV show that will fill the hole in my heart that's been left by Parks & Recreation. I'm an ENFP, enneagram 7 wing 6. So basically, I'm always on the move. My favorite book of the Bible is Ruth because I long to be like her one day. I don't leave my house without chapstick because I'm against chapped lips. I'm the proud owner of a dachshund named Toby and I love him the most. I love to write, and this blog is where I put most of it (when it's finished). I hope you love it here, but more than this, I hope you find Jesus here on these pages. Because He's given me everything, and without Him, I'm not sure where I'd be.
